Sunday, March 23rd at 4pm. In preparation for the meeting please review the following important information.
There are 5 seats up for election this year. The terms of four board members are ending this year: Liz Horn, Aaron Zirbes, Jim Merli, and Jake Ingman. An additional seat is open this year because Dave Pierce stepped down to pursue greater things. (Logan Mitton has been filling his shoes as interim board member.) All of the current board members are still interested in serving on the board.
The board needs your feedback. As always our ears and inbox are open, but please take a moment to fill out this survey, here. It will help us make decisions that best represent our members’ needs.

We will be stripping/setting Thursday April 11th & 18th from 5:30p to 10p. The first setting night, we'll work on the cave & 15 degree walls. Remember, we strip/set going clockwise...60 to 50, vertical, north 10, etc. Certified setters can go ahead and backfill the walls we've already set. We will try our best not to remove any new problems set ahead of the rotation.
To all interested & current setters:
- Everyone must attend a Route Setting Night before they can set on an individual basis.
- Route Setters can strip walls on Route Setting Nights only.
- Everyone must tag their problems.
- Everyone must tape under the holds.
- Please clean up after yourselves.

It is a hostel catering to the outdoorsy types like climbers, bikers, paddlers, and anyone with the adventurous spirit. There were plenty of bunks and rooms available, but Liz and I opted for a private room. The room set us back $70. I think the Crash Pad is a great place if you’re looking for a bunk in a communal space. They run about $30 a night. However, if you were looking for some quiet or even a little privacy, I’d recommend a more traditional hotel. The walls are thin. So thin, in fact, they are essentially cosmetic. I had a “conversation” with our neighbors at 3 am. It was nice.
